| Or, How The 7 Great Lies of Network Marketing Tells It Like It Is, Offers A Real Solution, And Even Saves Souls* In The Process! |
Once upon a time as a young man, I was (however briefly) an Amway distributor. This was back in the eighties. Anyway, I found that their business building and recruitment techniques left a lot to be desired. In fact, their procedures were generally stupid, dysfunctional and counterproductive!
You may be familiar with the process. Step 1: Nag friends and family to "try 'n' buy" till they'll take no more! Don't mind the ill-will and hard feelings that result. When this inevitably stops "working" (oh, and it will – it will) go to... Step 2: Run out, beat bushes, drag people against will to meetings (i.e. rah-rah sessions), convince (i.e. brow-beat) them into "signing or buying," rinse (with Amway soap) and repeat.
I mean, I literally saw life-long friendships and important relationships destroyed over this kind of ridiculous BS! It was pathetic, it was sad and it was so unnecessary.
It's The Marketing, Stupid
Sadder still was the fact that many of these companies really did have great products. They just didn't have a single very small clue about proper marketing, and when (if) they succeeded, it seemed to be in spite of, not because of, their so-called "marketing plan." It didn't take me long to came to the conclusion that when it did work at all, it was more by accident than by design.
Over the years, I've been further exposed to other multi-level and network marketing programs, such as Herbalife. I had female friends in Tupperware, Jafra and Mary Kay. There were legal programs, health-related programs (vitamins and suppliments), beauty-related programs, etc., etc., etc. For a time, it seemed as if all my friends were "in" these things. But they all ran into the same problems I had previously seen and identified. Nearly all of them "failed" (i.e. quit) as a result.
When it came to the techniques and training of these companies, it seemed like that old expression: if you're a hammer, you see every problem as a nail.
Even though I was a mere marketing tyro in those days, I couldn't believe what I was seeing (and being asked to do). Needless to say, I didn't last long in the MLM business.
Good Marketing Leads To Real, Sustainable Growth
I wish I'd had the The Seven Great Lies of Network Marketing then. It discusses the pitfalls and dangers of building a network marketing business "the old fashioned way," and all the advantages of doing it the right way! If I'd had what's in that book, I would have been happy and excited. And I would have succeeded! Heck, I'd be a millionaire today. Big difference, right? In fact, it's such a big difference that I do not hesitate to say that anyone who is struggling with prospecting, sponsoring and locking down new business will benefit from the book, no question about it.
Do you know somebody who could use such help? Perhaps you know a Mannatech, Arbonne or Isagenix distributor who is not seeing the kind of results they'd like? Do you think they'd dig seeing real results, exploding sales and surging growth? If so, you simply must let them know about this book! Send them here to read this review or better yet click on the banner on your left to get the book and pass it along!
In my opinion, each and every multi-level marketing person can benefit enormously from the The Seven Great Lies of Network Marketing. It is just what the doctor ordered... and best of all, it's FREE!
