In the "big leagues" I've worked for the movies studios, big ad agencies, entertainment companies and top marketing firms, on accounts ranging from major movie projects (Star Wars, X-Men, Hellboy, for instance) to top brand names (Honda, Mattel, EA Sports, etc.).

In my field, I've worn a lot of hats, and it's probably fair to say I've done it all. Or most of it, anyway.
I'm a long-time internet marketer too. For the last several years (since about 2008) I've been seriously trying all sorts of online marketing techniques – with mixed results. In some cases – with disastrous results!
What is worse than the loss of money is the loss of time. Money can be replaced: time cannot.
Parenthetically, I find it ironic that in our world we let other people put a value on our time, when time is the single most precious commodity any of us have. It's actually priceless, because it can never be replaced.
Frankly, I think it's sick that so many of us (heck, most of us) sell ourselves out for chump change. Unfortunately, with most "internet marketing" ventures (read: scams), you're doing just that.
You're trading time (lots of it) for very little (if any) reward. Aren't you just sick of that crap? I know I was, am and undoubtedly will be – till the end of my days.
