I've been doing quite a bit of video marketing recently. Why? Basically, I've come to the conclusion that an integrated marketing philosophy, combining standard bum marketing (articles and content creation) with videos is the way to go.

Because of this "aha!" I've been looking at various video marketing courses recently. I know there are things I'm missing, not to mention smarter and more effective methods and techniques. In any event, I'm always looking for that "edge" that will give me an advantage in the marketplace. So it was interesting kismet that I happened to get an email for a special webinar on video marketing secrets from Sean Donahoe.
Sean is a Warrior Forum member in good standing and a rising star in the Internet Marketing scene. And with good reason, as I was about to find out. If his Video Marketing Gold Mine course is any indication, his stuff is really top notch by comparison to just about everybody else out there.
That's the good news. The bad news is, the course was $997. Yikes!
But then again, you get what you pay for. I'm happy to report, based on my preliminary assessment, that Sean has totally overdelivered. He said that what he was providing was worth more than $11,000 dollars. I don't know about that (it's too early to tell), but I can tell you it's definitely worth the price! No questions about it.

The course is divided into two major sections: Basic and Advanced Strategies.
The Basic Course consists of 13 videos, each of which is around an hour in length. There's a lot of content here, and it's all good!
The Advanced Strategies has seven more vids I haven't even had a chance to look at yet. Sean even threw in his Twitter Commando course!
There are lot's of little things clearly demonstrating that quality control is a top priority. For instance, all the videos are downloadable. You'd think this would be standard operating procedure by now, but many courses don't provide an easy way to get what you paid for. Speaking for myself, I like to DL vids and course materials for later reference and off-line use.
But quite often you have to use special browser-based plugins to get the videos that are rightfully yours. Worse yet, in some cases you actually have to use screen capture software – a nightmare if there ever was one!
Better still, the downloaded videos actually have the right titles! Now, I know this may sound stupid. Call it a pet peeve. But it actually does go to the care that went into this product.
Trust me, when you download the videos for a course and find out they've been given sense-less or confusing titles (as is often the case), it's a major pain – particularly if there are more than a few. You have to open each one, determine which video it actually is (this alone can take five or ten minutes per video), then give it a title that makes sense. You know, like: "Pt-1-Vid-1," "Pt-1-Vid-2," etc. It can take an hour or more just to do that. It's stupid, so unnecessary and extremely aggravating. Sean and company clearly get it.

My only complaint about this would be that the course doesn't provide PDF transcripts for most of the vids. These are always handy, as it's often a lot easier to pop open a PDF and find the info you are looking for than open a vid and spend five minutes hunting and pecking for that one lil nugget you need...
I'm in the thick of it right now with the course, so I'll do a full review ASAP.
Please leave me some comments, Pardner!
