I don't know about you, but I'm getting darn sick and tired of the all the "be all, end all" traffic generation systems being released by Clickbank these days, using the joint venture (JV) method. This is really not doing the credibility of Clickbank any good (as I've said before), nor that of the many Internet Marketing "gurus" who are doing it.
It seems like every week now there's some big new launch, proffering "the latest and greatest" "new" method in traffic generation. They all promise a ton of traffic fast -- if not instantly.
It's gotten so bad that I've literally quit many of the big guru lists. You too? It seems like all I get is hyped-up hullabaloo from these guys. Endless emails extolling the (dubious) virtues of the next great thing. Sadly, in my experience, "the next great thing" turns out to be a crappy rehash of the last marginal thing -- sometimes (if you're extremely lucky) with a few possibly useful nuggets thrown in.

This JV madness is really getting old. Beyond that, it's ruining the credibility of a lot of good guys in the process. I spoke with one relative newcomer on the Internet Marketing scene who told me that the only way to get his products launched in big numbers was to JV and shill for his "peers." What a sad state of affairs. But this would explain why every list you get on these days (or so it seems) turns out to be one pitch after another for somebody else's new "wonder product."
I won't and don't do JVs on my lists, except in very special circumstances where I'm 100% sure the product in question is really good. Even though this means my lists will grow much more slowly. I'd rather have smaller lists of people who really want to be on said lists, than a large group of people who are only on it because they got their arm's twisted via some JV offer. But I digress...
