I just "discovered" another thing that needs to be added to my Sandvox Features Request page. It will go there shortly...
And I note with great interest that Karelia (maker of Sandvox) is now following my Twitter posts! Which, besides being really cool (thanks for caring, guys), means that maybe I'm not just farting in a whirlwind here. Ahem.
In any event, I wanted to make the footer of this here lil ol' blog distinctive with my brand mark. And it looked great here in Sandvox. But when I updated the site... well, let's just say it didn't work on the ol' World Wide Web. Which is really strange, in and of itself... because Sandvox is, overall and across the board, one of the very best WYSIWYG platforms I've ever encountered.
Here's the way I wanted the footer of every page to look:
And here's the way it published:

I monkeyed around with it for a while, trying to make it work (see my 90-10 Rule post for a discourse on artistic dedication/obsession), but couldn't figure out what the problem was. I tried different file formats (.png and the ol' reliable, .jpg). I tried tweaking the HTML. I dunno. Is there a glitch... or am I missing something here?
In any event, I wanted to add that cool lil "finishing touch" to the bottom of my site/blog (not that it will ever be truly "done"), and I don't think it's possible.
Snif.
Please leave me some comments, Pardner!
